Kind of made me want to take up drinking but then I saw The Macallan M - 1824 Series @ $3,704.94 a bottle and I thought twice!

Your drunk and hangover care not how much you paid to get there.

In a departure from my usual diet of beer, the other day I actually had a couple stiff screwdrivers with the neighbor. Every once in a great while, I do so to remind myself why I stick to beer, the nectar of Heaven!

I had 4 cups of a nice lui an tea from 1985 this morning. Lui an is a type of aged tea like pu-erh. Good stuff. I decided to spoil myself this holiday season.

Macallan makes great scotches. I'm a Laphroaig fan though. That is the most distinctive scotch I've ever tasted.

My bos gave me a bottle of Crown Royal last Christmas. I haven't even opened it yet.

Crown Royal is smooth as all get out. I enjoy it. Definitely not a high-end whiskey though.

I haven't had a glass of whiskey since October 2016. This Winter I think I'm going to indulge a bit. My go to whiskey was Tullamore DEW but I would single malt scotch once or twice a week. Since I already have the Crown Royal I will pick up a bottle of Laphroiag 10 year. That should do it. I'll probably do that next week, actually.

    I like rye too. That's a man's whiskey.

My wife and I found a Japanese whiskey called Hibiki, that one intrigued the hell out of me. Haven't tried it yet, but we probably will this month at some point. It's just so pricey. It's like $60 a bottle.
