    Too many people today belueve that once they make a career choice, that's it. If the economic evolutionary process eliminates that field, it is the responsibility of government to find them a new career path.

    I'm nearing retirement so I don't have to do that anymore. Instead, I read about philosophy and economics and politics a lot. But throughout my life I have otherwise always looked at where I am and planned out the next step. I have switched careers several times, gone back to school, or learned new things on the job. I just don't know any other way.
