Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.
Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

I think that's why we should be looking for planet systems in the "Goldylocks" zones with large moons. I think that's what gave our life time to develop far enough to develop technology. Simple forms of life could develop on planets with no large moon but wouldn't last long enough to advance very far. They think that before Mars lost its atmosphere simple life could have developed and disappeared 3 times partly due to the planets erratic tilting. The chances that two planets of a certain size could collide with each other at just the right angle and velocity to combine both planets cores and blow off enough surface area to form a huge moon are beyond astronomical. We got a stabilizing moon and a strong magnetic field generating core to protect us in that universal Powerball win. Now if we can only use our technology to spread out we can survive the coming loss of our moon as it will either drift away or crash back into the earth or the inevitable "death" of our sun or any other catastrophe that awaits our planet.

If we destroyed the moon we would also destroy moonlight strolls, werewolves, high tides, and songs like "Moon over Miami"
