Researchers examined DNA from 1,077 gay men and 1,231 straight men and found two genes linked to sexual orientation.

The team at the NorthShore University HealthSystem research institute in Illinois scanned the men’s genomes and found single-letter differences in their DNA sequences.

Their findings add to mounting evidence that sexual orientation is partly biologically determined. However, some scientists cautioned that the discovery was far from uncovering a “gay gene”, saying that further work was needed.

The researchers found that one of the genes is active in the region of the brain containing the hypothalamus, which produces the hormones that control sex drive and other bodily functions. The hypothalamus has already been shown to be about a third bigger in gay men then in straight men.

I've always thought homosexulaity was biological, at least for men. Women, I'm not so sure about though.
