So what other laws do you advocate, routinely violating? Why do you think it is a good idea to immigrate illegally when we have a perfectly legal way to do so?

It depends. I think if the illegal immigrant committed no actual violent crime, if crossing the border illegally was their only crime, then I have no problem with the city in which they live protecting them. If they are a violent criminal, however, the city shouldn’t be protecting them.

There is no reason, no excuse for an illegal to be protected in ANY US city.

If you want a welfare state you should probably rethink that. After all, highly paid immigrants aren't sneaking into the country and "living in the shadows".
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Hopefully, some day, it won't come down to a matter of you, going up against one of those criminals, because, as we've already witnessed..... you'd lose.

Could you provide some facts instead of opinion. Sanctuary cities exist to not report illegals to ice for one thing.

Earlier in the thread I produced the actual cost of illegal immigration based on 2010 inflation of just illegal incarcerations. That does not include the cost for educating their children, medical costs and all other govt costs. I dont believe americans should foot that burden along with all the legal immigration quotas we have.

It costs alot of money and effort and time to come here legally. Why would anyone come here legally if we are going to allow you idea of offering them protection after they come here illegally if they dont commit a violent crime. Cant operate under an allowable illegal system thats kind of absurd.

Change the laws dont break them
