    Yes there are states that do and states that do not, but this is cities, who get billions in federal money.

    Those cities spend a fortune just on educating those kids, federal dollars play for many programs in those schools. Theres a myriad of ways sanctuary cities cost taxpayers a fortune.

    As I have posted before, a major part of the problem is that courts do not respect detainers- the nonjudicial procedure ICE uses to tag illegals. If they got warrants (like every other law enforcement organization) sanctuary cities would lose their strongest arguments to not corporate. .
