I'm okay with that decision as I know the two bumped heads often on personnel. Damn, it's been another brutal season, but at least the Cavs are starting to put it together.

Right call, IMO. Hue needs at least 5 years to really see if his program will work, especially building from nothing as he has been.

As far as the front office goes, it gives you a head start on finding a replacement.

As your friend I am pleased. As a Bengal fan I am bummed.

    I am conflicted.

He's not the only coach in Ohio who should be fired. The Bengals keeping Marvin Lewis is inexplicable. He should have been fired several years sago.

Marvin Lewis resurrected the Bengals franchise. In the 15 years prior to his tenure, they had a .350 winning percentage (.500 is breaking even), 2 winning seasons (and 13 losing seasons), 2 division titles, and 2 playoff appearances. In Lewis’s 15 years, they had a .525 winning percentage, 7 winning seasons, 4 division titles, and 7 playoff appearances. He turned a failing franchise into a yearly contender.

Everybody drink! Don’t know of a worse GM in history.
Although I confess I haven’t watched football since week two, except for one weekend when we had company. Have been pleasantly surprised how easy it was to quit. 60+year habit broken.
