Kinda what I thought, it seems his hand became visible again right before he shot, it was empty. And whats with all that "crawl towards me" business. Why not tell him to lay flat on the ground, arms straight out? Seems much safer.

It was a bad shooting. The officer screaming the instructions was out of control, threatening and had the guy so rattled, he didn't know what the hell to do. He was ordered to keep his hands up or they'd kill him and at the same time, he was ordered to crawl. Guess what, officer dumbass... crawling is done on your hands AND knees.

The cop who shot should be hanged. The other 3 with him should be fired and or charged as accessories to murder. Training guidelines for the PD should be examined by an independent oversight agency, including the individual training records of each of the officers involved. The city should have to pay the widow whatever she demands.

The guy on the ground was terrified. He was confused. He was trying to comply. This was about as bad a shoot as you can get.

An AZ police officer was found not guilty in shooting an unarmed man. Not sure if I would call it justified, but it was a mistake to reach for his waist, for sure. Cop looked a bit trigger happy.

Why not have him lie flat and go cuff him? Problem solved. "Crawl towards me" sounds like a power trip and a bad choice. I'd like to know what the arrest was over and if the cop was even told ( sometimes SWAT is NOT told) .
I believe that there is a gray area where the cop is not acting criminally but should never be allowed to be in this position again because of the way he or she reacted .Desk duty? Fired? But not returned to the streets.

Yup, Arizonia is safe from pellet gun wielding exterminators! The article I found did say the cop was fred for violating procedure , so at least there is that.
