“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured…but not everyone must prove they are a citizen. And now, any of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.”

I like it - not just musically, but in terms of image and presentation. It's real. Too many female Country performers these days come out looking like a cross between a Playboy centerfold and a Vegas showgirl, with a light show exploding in the background and enough orchestration to stun a moose. In contrast, this young woman comes out with her short hair and tattoos and more musical talent than any five of those big-name Country divas and just says, "Here it is". Killer on all counts.

Standing Wolf, I agree. We don't listen to country any longer b/c it all sounds the same these days. In my area, many listen to Americana: a sound that mixes country, swing, even a little bit of rock n' roll. In fact, our local radio station is the #1 Americana station in the U.S.- FM 92.1.
Chris, thanks for the video! I first heard Lillie on 92.1 and really like her sound.
