Exactly. Coffee gets a lot of people. They don't realize they're turning a zero calorie beverage into the equivalent of a candy bar when they add multiple sugars and cream.

I just think a lack of basic nutritional understanding and lack of common sense is the issue. Sugar is generally fine, but yeah, if you have 3 sodas a day, 4 donuts, cereal, and put 10 sugars in your coffee, you might have a problem. I guess people have a problem recognizing instinctively how much is too much.

People who eat processed foods (out of a box or can) typically get a lot more sugar than they realize.
