I didn't vote for s buffoon. The guy I voted for was a goof-ball, but he at least had a clear understanding of the restraints placed upon government by the US Constitition.

What Congress is working on is a tax cut for the uber wealthy and multinationals. Unless they make some significant changes, which they might, the middle class and small business are getting crumbs. Whats being proposed by the GOP led congress is not what Trump was promising during the campaign.

Actually, tax rates for the wealthy remain right where they are now. There is no tax rate cut for the wealthiest Americans. In fact they will pay more because of the elimination of some loopholes. That's one reasons I am not happy with this tax plan. Everyone who pays income tax should get a rate cut....Everyone.
There is a reduction in the corporate tax rate and that has been needed for quite some time. That's going to result in a huge increase in revenues flowing into government. Enough to pay for that massive infrastructure restoration.
