Lol. Oh. I wasn't really racing...more like hurrying. It was cold. I was headed downstairs for some milk. It was dark, my steel stairs were damp, I misstepped, tried to grab the handrail, missed it with my hand but caught it with my face.

If y'all could see where I live you'd totally understand.
12 stitches later... And the left eye is black today, too.
