I want to know how a raccoon got in the city of philadelphia

Every city has racoons. They were there before the cities and they are still there. They are one of the world's most adaptive creatures.

I don't hate racoons, but when wildlife and human life share environments, there are bound to be problems. People need to make sure that racoons don't enter their homes. Whoever owns that building was negligent in their maintenance.

$375.00 a month in a city so yes extreme neglence if Raccons were living there AND coming indoors. The poor kid will need rabies shots on top of all this.

They are rumored to be less people avoidant because of the constant exposure than our our country Raccoons. Not sure about that but it seems to seem likely

The same way with coyotes. They adapt, blend in, and are extremely intelligent. It really doesn't take them long to figure out how we do things and how everything is set up, and they find ways to make it work for them.
