That statement is either stupid or a lie.

American work sites are extremely safe.

It's not just as simple as being "forced" to wear a mask. There is a short term exposure limit and a permissible exposure limit based upon an eight hour work day. The level of protection needed for you to carry out your job is based upon medical and historical data collected that shows how the substance you are exposed to affects a human body. Based upon your work environment, it could require a N95 or higher mask, full or half face respirator, or even a self contained breathing apparatus. All of which requires a respirator program, medical surveillance with an annual physical, and a fit test prior to use. If your level of exposure is less than a established PEL or STEL, but the employee still wants to wear a mask and not be enrolled in a respirator program, then a "comfort" mask is allowed to be worn. If an employer is giving an employee a "comfort mask" without the necessary precautions taken to make sure the employee is not exposed to any substance above the PEL and STEL, then the employer is at risk of being cited by OSHA for a violation.

Blood laws is how many regulations are established.

I've seen very little evidence that government regulations improve safety or, if they do improve safety, that the benefits are worth the costs. Of course, people who make a living off of "safety" and its attendant regulations will no doubt argue otherwise. I mean, what else are they going to do? Admit that their livelihood is a farce and a burden on society?

Would you like to try again? Maybe this time we can actually have a discussion.

I didn't rant, I simply did not agree with you.

    A. Its an open forum. If you want just one person to answer go to the Private Message function

    B. I did answer the question. I said and I meant that any regulation out of government is not meant to do anything but control the people.

    C. I am making warranted assumptions based on your constant post against free and open markets. You want more and more controls but as I pointed out those controls are only designed to eliminate competition. Ergo it must mean you want small businesses eliminated. You cannot promote small business by making it impossible for them to operate.

And I doubt rather seriously that we could ever have a discussion since you don't want to discuss, you want to preach.

In any organization it is not the top officials that control that organization but the petty unelected career bureaucrats.
