I do not like to let others use my cellphone, even relatives, because then their person ends up starting to call me looking for them.
This is what I'd argue after watching the video. It's not racism, not overt, maybe unconscious, but a more decisive factor would be whether the person fits into the location. This is based on what the various people said about knowing th black and not the white. I wonder hoiw the experiment would go in a mixed public place like a train station or airport.
I say it in part too because too often people are looking for racism, like the profs declaring farmer's markets racist, or a race card player getting expected reactions.
