You are really nothing more than an uniformed poster.

The Democratic Party has ALWAYS been the party of greater government intervention in our lives, ALWAYS. It was always the Solid South until Ronald Reagan when people saw what the Democratic Party's socialistic policies were doing to the country. It was the Republican Party that sponsored and passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act. It was the Democratic Party that supported Mussolini and Fascism prior to WW2. It was the Democratic Party that spawned the KKK and the Jim Crow laws and segregated schools and all the other trappings. You can pretend all you want that I am stupid because I know the truth but it does not change the truth.

They are also increasing their UN contributions of both money and troops as well as just generally increasing their international presence world wide in an attempt to take over our role as "world police".

I can't understand why people aren't more concerned about this.
No, not concerned. Not at all.

Let Europe do it, let Canada do it.

Back to the topic before it was derailed. China has a billion plus people to feed. I don't think they are trying to take over the world as much as they are merely trying to feed those billion people. I can't imagine what ant warrens most Chinese cities must be (I have been to Hong Kong and saw 7 million people crammed into that small space, with people living on small boats and on roof tops) but the Chinese government knows that it must do something to provide for all those people. One way, and in fact the best way, is by world wide trade and an increasingly prosperous citizenry. As American youth clamor for the right to smoke dope Chinese kids are attending advanced engineering and science classes.

China is a land power. It doesn't have the ability to expand very far. That takes a sea power.

The CRA vote had zero to do with party, but geographical locations. All the "southerners" here at tPF that are proud of their "southern heritage" can be summed up by their posts and the outcome of the CRA vote...

Below is the vote breakdown of the CRA by demographic region. If you read the "note" you will see how the members of congress from the respective "southern" states voted vs the "northern" states. Please, please, try and tell me that those guys in the south that were in the democratic party that voted "no" are the same guys that would have voted for someone like Obama.

Note: "Southern", as used in this section, refers to members of Congress from the eleven states that made up the Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. "Northern" refers to members from the other 39 states, regardless of the geographic location of those states.

    The original House version:

    Southern Democrats: 7–87 (7–93%)
    Southern Republicans: 0–10 (0–100%)
    Northern Democrats: 145–9 (94–6%)
    Northern Republicans: 138–24 (85–15%)

    The Senate version:
Southern Democrats: 1–20 (5–95%) (only Ralph Yarborough of Texas voted in favor)
Southern Republicans: 0–1 (0–100%) (John Tower of Texas)
Northern Democrats: 45–1 (98–2%) (only Robert Byrd of West Virginia voted against)
    Northern Republicans: 27–5 (84–16%)
Bottom line is this @nathanbforrest45, you cannot erase history, nor can you whitewash it by pretending you were on the right side of history.

For one thing the UN is a nothing organization (except ter children's work). They are not keeping the peace or doing anything else except to parrot the Muslim propaganda.

Let's say the Chinese but the UN. What does that get them? Do you think that China is suddenly invade south? Do you think they are going to invade Russia? As an economic power you fail to take their population into account. Per capita income is nowhere near ours.
