A military strike against North Korea

What say someone had the testicular fortitude to attack North Korea to prevent their nuclear program from coming online to begin with. So many non Neocons, so little time in which to provide examples...specific examples....where our policies if engaged....are quite correct. And would work.

Many have been saying...the longer you wait and procrastinate concerning North Korea. Like we did ISIS. Like we're doing with Iran.

The calculus for the last 30 years with the NKs was that the US was not going to risk 1M plus SK casualties so long as the NKs did not have the capacity to hit the US with a nuke.

Let's see if things change now that it is getting very likely that they can.

The missile technology they cannot figure out was mastered by the Apollo program, how long did we think this calculus was going to add up? I am not sure what you mean. Should the US have started a war with the NKs in 2000 where perhaps 1M SKs would have died, when at the time the NKs had no possible way of hitting the US?

Yes, a realist would try other methods until that break pointed happened and NK was on the verge of having the ability to hit the US.

I don't believe that, but I am OK with you believing it. I think Iranian leadership points to the US because we are the big bog on the block.

I think they would use their weapons on Israel. Which really isn't our problem ultimately- although we could easily retaliate after such an attack.

They have killed and wounded many hundreds of our soldiers. They support terrorist actions everywhere. And they have been practicing launches from barges with ballistic missiles capable of putting a warhead two hundred miles up.

What nobody seems to want to address is that NK, is a piss ant, when it comes to military power.

I don't mind the saber rattling. and they should be building a missile defense for SK that would make if very difficult for NK to hit them with anything.

They also should be building intel on the NK programs and where and how many war heads they have.

The USA should never use our forces unless we are willing to wage Total War, and they should never except anything other than unconditional surrender.

Then you can build up forces. Nothing tends to shut up a bully like the threat of getting his ass kicked. And China and Russia would not be very happy with at US territory so close to them.

Just because you talk about war, does not mean that you actually need to go to war
