I appreciate you contribution and the effort you put into it, but it isn't actually the question that was asked. I asked what is the current second largest religious group in the US.
The answer to that is Jews at 1.9% of the population. Muslims are currently in at .9% This is however not the way the rest of the world is balanced. World wide Jews are pretty much at the bottom of the stack population wise with only a few tens of millions of adherents while there are a couple of billion Muslims. Islam is #2 world wide while Jews come in below "other religions" in the linked chart. It is not at all unreasonable to assume that in a few decades there will be more Muslims than Jews in the US. Current immigration rates would pretty much insure it.
To your point I would say that conversion of the current population isn't needed. It's probably gonna happen regardless.
In short this isn't a false narrative at all, definitely not "fake news" as the OP tries to portray it.
