    Great example of fake news

Here is a perfect example of fake news by the purveyors of fake news. The methodology they use to support this conclusion is completely dishonest.

But the question is, why are they promoting this false idea? What's the motivation behind this?

They just blow it out of their ass', they are probably hoping a democrat president imports 5 million of them.
I dont read anything CNN and I dont pay attention to anything CNN. I can get the truth elsewhere and everything they print or say is suspect to me.

Right now Muslims make up about 1% of the American population. The growth is mostly due to immigration. Even by the projections offered in the link, Muslims will grow to about 2% of the population by 2030 or so. That is not enough to make them the second largest religious group in the US.

What is the motivation by promoting this false story?

Explain why their conclusion is false. Don't just scream "fake news!", make your case.

Because 2% will not be the second largest religious group in America. Making that claim is knowingly false. It is “fake news”.

Counter my comments with substance or move on.

I knew liberals here would rush to support the fake news, but not offer any substance while doing so.

What is the second largest religious group now? What percentage of the population are they?
