There has to be some reason the media is promoting this crazy idea that Muslims will be the second largest religious population in the US in 2030 when they might be only 2% of the population by then.

See a contradiction between the two liberals here? One says it’s a opinion based on facts and the other says the piece listed stated no facts. Which is it?

I speak for myself. The facts they are using are demographics and a projection of a trend.

Its not not being done to promote an agenda. The article is only making a projection based on a trend. It's not a conspiracy or propaganda. It's simply a report on the changing demographics of America.

    You're tilting at windmills here.

Yeah, the evil media is trying subvert you with articles on religious demographics. It's part of their deep state agenda to destroy America and install a caliphate with small website articles.

Hiw does a trend which says Muslims might make up 2% of the population translate into Islam being the second largest religious group? It does if one promotes fake news.

Why would they promote such an obviously ridiculous idea? Try to think for a change.

I don't know if they will answer but I would like to take a shot at it.

I would guess that author is counting on many in the social justice movement to become followers of the Nation of Islam. They are also indoctrinated to believe that the best what to get along with anyone is through policies of appeasement. and they would be hoping against to take in thousands of refugees that would be Muslim.

Because it would be true. Christians are the vast majority followed by Jews and then Muslims. If the current trend continues, Muslims would surpass Jews. It's not fake news. It's just a prediction based on data.

How is this article "promoting" anything?

If an article stated that Americans will shop online more than in store if current trends continue, would that be promoting online shopping? Would it be some vast conspiracy?

Seriously, you're seeing something that doesn't exist. At least not in this benign article. Not everything is a conspiracy.
