Seriously? you cant see how ridiculous that is and it was only to derail the briefing ? That question had nothing to do with the business of the day. If he wants to wring his hands over whether trump is watching foxnews in the morning CNN can do that on the air and have one of their anchors make a fool out of themselfs.

There is no way you can make what he did right in any way shape of or form and I stand by he deserved the ridicule and embarrassment he got because thats what he was trying to do.

Of course they do. It is what the *president* actually does, which is always of interest especially since it plays into the fitness for office thing that is being discussed. These guys aren't supposed to just sit there and nod, they are journalists, not tape recorders. Asking questions that are off script is part of their job description, as is catching their subject off guard. It's what they do.
