When I lived in Germany the women sure wanted to get hooked up with an American so they could get a ticket to the US. I don't know of anyone who considers the US a third world country. That notion is nonsensical.

There are always some women looking for a meal ticket. Eastern European and Russian women are the most common applicants for green cards of those applying to immigrate to the US from European continent - looking for wealthy middle-aged husbands or applying because they already have a fish on the line. They aren't too picky because they know that they can tap the guy for half of his assets in the divorce.

At least we are allowed to "grab them by their $#@!" now that Trump says it's okay.

West Germans are not considered Eastern Europeans. Your claim that Europeans look at the US as a wealthy third world nation is absurd.

News: Rich people paying rich people to tell middle class people to blame poor people.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

Are you sure that the women you met were west Germans? How long ago was this? I work for a German company and the Germans are not shy about expressing their views of the US. I've talked to many of them over the last 20 years. They don't like the US - they don't like the culture. If they had to accept a transfer and they have kids, their first choices are anywhere else in Europe or Canada or Australia.

I cannot envision the entire population quitting their jobs; who in their right mind wants to sit at home all day and do absolutely nothing with their lives?? I know i couldn't sit at home; i'd want to work and earn a living.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

Your claim that they consider the US a third world country is absurd. In fact it's beyond absurd. Whether they like our culture or not is a different issue.
