    It is very expensive here in NOVA. I live two miles outside of the Beltway and got a condo for $300K. I would have to move way to the west to get a house around that price point. And that equals a horrible commute to work.

    For the median price of a home in WVA, I could buy another parking space in Boston.

    My daughter (P1) and her husband bought this house for $273,000 - 25 minutes west of Akron and 30 minutes south of Cleveland. Down the street from (cough cough....). It'd been neglected b/c a former NFL player and local tv personality had divorced and they let the early 20-year old boys live there. He got fed up and dumped it. Otherwise, it'd have gone for probably $340. Nice big lot. Great development (great neighbors 8 houses up the street). Only a two car garage, though.

    Incredible. Do you get a deeded interest? Do you have to pay property tax on it? In my county, that'd cost you about $4000 a year in property tax alone.
