I am not claiming they make up the bulk of the homeless. I was just surprised to see them.

People with jobs, are moving to Colorado, Texas and, Arizona....to name a few states, because of the illegal population in California... I see vehicles with California plates, pulling U-Haul trailers, heading east, all the time.

Before long, all California will be left with is illegal criminals... Just exactly what they want, so it seems, let them fail.

How can they afford their social services when the tax payers leave?

Out of curiosity I looked up the rate by state. CA is number 3. Hawaii is #1. MS has the lowest rate.

Census Bureau’s Supplemental Poverty Measure > Wiki...almost assuredly..

Not sure how much income it takes to live comfortably in Samoa...

That is a good question; until I googled American Samoa i figured the locals lived in gumbo huts or some sort of shanty's but the island is much more advanced then I thought.

Probably isn't a lot of commerce on the island unless its tuna fishing and possibly tourism (they have a bunch of atolls and beaches I suppose you could camp out on). Water appears to be very clear as well.

I imagine they probably live cheaply there as well since the cost of living would be low.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

Try living in the Eastern U.S. and be homeless. You would probably freeze to death right now.

Probably why so many who are inclined to live that lifestyle voluntarily, move south. There have been beach bums for a very long time.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

NY ranks #2. I was rather surprised myself but that may be because NYC has an infrastructure to deal with the problem of Winter.
