Well clearly it was because of the wrong ratio of green beans to peaches that caused kids to be overweight in my high school and not that those who didn't go off campus to eat could purchase assorted fast food from a kiosk in the cafeteria that local fast food joints used to rotate selling out of. Taco bell was everybody's favorite and surely there were no empty calories there as they got that lettuce/shell/faux beef mixture just right.

Eat less simple carbs. More protein and fat. The government's pyramid is flawed.

I'm convinced food processing is a main contributor to obesity.

Besides ginger ale when I have a sour stomach I don't think I've had a glass of soda in many years. Maybe a decade.

    I don't drink soda except maybe a 3 or 4 times a year. For me it's a treat.

No. I would be antimatter if it weren't for coke. Do as I say, not as I do in that regard. It is my energy drink.

Man my uncle occasionally brings me some ginger ale from some mom and pop company in North Carolina that is quite possibly the strongest thing I have ever had both on the ginger and the heat side. Have to have them ice cold because they get a little too much as they warm up.

Coffee is my Achilles heel. I'm trying to reduce my intake these days.

Back in my mid 20s I grabbed a can of Sunkist on a whim. I remembered liking it as a kid. Nice and sugary. It went down well but I was hopped up for a while. Then I crashed so hard I nearly passed out in my chair.
