Did Nassar Judge go too far with comments?

I wondered this myself as I listened to her comments. Yes, he's pond scum. Yes, he's guilty. Yet, he's still entitled to a fair and unbiased judge - even in the sentencing phase.

I agree the judge went to far and showed her bias, however, I dont believe this guy should get out of prison.

In another thread there were those that said the sentence was excessive, it was within the law.
So cut it in half he still doesnt get out prison. This guy carried out serial sexual abuse and pedophillia for a long time and he left a wake of victims, theres no ambiquity in this case

I agree but even if he gets a retrial he will not get a pass in the end

He deserves to not take another breath in my eyes, but the judge showed her bias or too much emotion, which being the sole decider in the case, causes me to have some concern as to how impartial the case was.

I agree with you, but if you followed the case, it was overwhelming evidence and he basically admitted to it during the trial at one point. Hes done whether retrial or not.

The best thing is the entire organization is now under a microscope, where this nassar was practicing medicine for the organization he had no medical license. Theres alot of athlete accusations leveled at the entire organization aside from nassar

He isn't entitled to a retrial. A resentencing maybe. Going to be the same in the end. He never gets out.

If her comments suggest that she was biased in her sentencing, then yes she went too far. Due process mandates that justice be administered impartially.
