Eminem has just one vote in any election for a politician. If his words sway anyone else then it's on them. Eminem's efforts and accolades are deserved as he helped break the RAP color barrier. He's not a part of my musical tastes but whatever.

Not so much his race that got him his dues though. He was really the first to take words that don't really rhyme and make them seem like they do. Most rapper praise of him I have seen related to him as a lyricist.
