    Death By Corn Snake

Well I had another nightmare last night: this time I was killed by a corn snake. When I woke up, I was thinking "Oh COME ON! Can't it at least take a python or something to kill me!" In my defense though, this was the largest corn snake that ever lived. This was like Anaconda the corn snake, okay?

Yeah, it was still pretty pathetic.

As snakes go that's kinda like dreaming you were mauled to death by a vicious chihuahua.

Definitely. Not normally corn snakes though.

The truth is that I have nightmares all the time. Many of them revolve around the prospect of not getting my work done. I have anxiety issues. I also sometimes have nightmares about snakes (though this one was new), about spiders, and about stuff like falling off a cliff. What I hate the most is that state of mind where you're not yet awake, but conscious of the fact that you're in a dream and therefore try and rewind that dream to reverse a catastrophic move, and yet keep making the same fundamental mistake again and again: Just keep biking off the edge of the cliff over and over again despite knowing it's coming or keep tripping on your own feet over and over again even though you know that was the error that got you eaten the last three times you were in this scene too, etc. Nightmares suck.

That sux. Fortunately I don't have dreams like that. I occasionally rehash traumatic events and that's bad enough.

LOL . Is that like being taken down by a rat snake ? Yeah pretty bad. Before you go to sleep tonight think of monster snakes from the movies. LOL

"Spiders and snakes?" Good connection to the H&G days I guess. As far as the work if you know the Serenity Prayer you should learn the short version.

Talk about nightmares; I actually had a nightmare where I had a civil conversation with my mother-in-law.
