Neither defense looked good from what I saw. The Eagles gave up over 500 passing yards.

I know but if you think about it, the Eagles did not look that great either.

I think if you look at what Draft pics each time has, I think that the pats have a tone in round 2 through 4 ??? I could be wrong. Plus they have some key Defensive players that were on IR.

I don't know if they should be #1 but they should be in the top 5

And if you had to bet everything that you own on one team making the Superbowl? Would you really bet on anyone but the Pat's

And Brady had on hell of a Game too.

It’s not just ESPN. The entire sports media complex has a man crush on Brady. Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels were sickening in the little bit I saw yesterday.

I don't really understand the Patriot hate.

It's based on two things.


First the somewhat petulant personality of their head coach who seems it's benieth him to answer any questions like coaches are required to do. He's rude and obnoxious.


Second, the prissiness and whininess of Tom Brady is the second factor.


There's a third factor. They have been caught and suspected of too many rule violations trying to achieve a competative advantage.

I know but if you think about it, the Eagles did not look that great either...

They did stop the run though.

I found out why ESPN ranking the Pat's above the Eagles. The Eagles as they sit are 7million over the cap.

They have a great time and a Great Defense, but the Pats did put up 33 points and 600 yards, that the Pats are under the cap.

Also the Eagles are going to have to sign one of their 2 Qb's and there first 3 round pics. at the least. So Like the SeaHawks, they will have to send some talent packing.

But it is very possible that the Pats will be better next year. I believe that is the difference.
