This host has been having issues for quite awhile, there is no reason for this issue to continue to happen. I hope the Admin is on their case

This is a good reminder. I didn't think about contributing until the site went down. Even if it was a glitch it still should make members pause and consider contributing if they're able. I've set up my monthly contribution and I feel better about it. But we should all remember also that being active members is another way to help the site.

    Minor technical difficulties.

The sister site had the same issue. ADMIN is working on it.

I click the banner ads which drives some sort of revenue to the site I suppose.

Both sites were down at the same time. Interesting.

Which site is "the sister site?" There are like a half dozen websites with similar names?

My second reaction was to figure out how to figure out what had happened. I never experienced something like this before. After much contemplation I was FORCED to go on the hunt and pull up sister sites in the hope that I would recognize a familiar username.

Much to my relief I did locate a site.

I remember this site.....but I never really participated and now I can't remember my username or password. NOoooooooooo!!!! What in the world is my username and password!!!

I'm panicking. I can see the members I want to talk with but until I figure out my damn username and password they are beyond reach.

Calm down.....I'm a problem solver. What to do, what to do. Ah ha - I'll reregister! hehehehehe

So I illegally re-registered (shhhhhh) and was able to reach some familiar members.

This got me thinking about what is the protocol when something like this happens. Is there an email that members can reach out to and find out what the issue is?

More importantly I was struck by how worried I was that I wouldn't be able to communicate with so many of the members here. We need a Plan B. Kinda like a fire drill at work with a designated area you go to so you can be accounted for and receive any important communications.

    Lol. Youre so stinking cute.

Last time this happened we (mods) discussed setting up an alternative site or Facebook page.
