People have been known to have strange superstitions. I have heard of albinos or almost albinos being shunned in Africa or coveted for the purposes of witchcraft and killed for body parts. The population density was low for most of our history. One small migrant group with dark skin made it to the islands. As tribes have been stealing women from other tribes for nearly all of our history I am certain the dark-skinned women gave birth to lighter skinned offspring.
Be of good cheer. Apparently breeding with blacks is all the rage these days.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

Of course they do but being ostracized from a hunter gathering clan is more or less a death sentence. You would have to have this occurring with such frequency that whole communities of light skinned people are able to develop and even thrive. We're talking circa 10,000 BC with a global population estimated at 5 million. It's not a plausible scenario.

People don't just suddenly give birth to recessive skin colors en masse. But if enough of those with those recessives mate, the gene becomes dominant. For that to happen you have to concentrate people carrying the recessive gene. Look up dog breeding and how breeds are created. Genetics 101.

Albinos being killed for body parts is a recent phenomenon. "Still happening" gives the wrong impression that this is an ancient practice. It's not.

It's implausible that tribes of light-skinned people banded with others who were also light skinned against assaults by those who were darker skinned while competing for scarce resources during mini ice ages? Or is it implausible that light skinned Europeans ended up in the Netherlands/Scandinavia becoming the Vikings - a collection of light-skinned people trapped for a time by climate cycles and ice long enough to develop a merciless and aggressive culture borne of food shortage? They used to eat their own children!
