I agreed with much of what he said. He has a valid point about spending. He does have a habit of using anecdotes of tiny items to prove his point though.

I disagree reed with a lot of his political positions, but I respect him for his candour and convictions.

All he wants is for the spending caps to remain in place, spending caps that were put into place under Obama.

Now Democrats are accusing Rand Paul of wanting to "shut down" the government and other hysterical nonsense, simply because he wants to keep Obama's policies in place.

This country is in serious, serious trouble, and the only people trying to do anything about it are routinely vilified.

This is what it must have been like to be a Roman near the end of the empire.
