Okay, all conspiracy theorist and Hollywood bull$#@! aside, the fact remains there are people who put politics into the Olympics, like the douchebag Rippon, and Carter pulling our atheletes from the Russian Olympics, but the Olympics are about sports and human accomplishments. Not nationalism.

I disagree.

Did not the opening ceremony introduce teams by nation? Don't people generally root for their own national team?

I will say again. The Olympics is proof that nationalism trumps globalism.
