I would never voluntarily turn over my DNA to a public, for profit company, signing away my rights to have the info sold or shared with other entities.

Yes, and I wasn't impressed. My sister and I each did it at different times without knowing the other did, and the results were almost diametrically opposed with my test showing large portions of my DNA coming from North American natives (inuit) and hers showing predominantly European genes largely from Sicily.

I have my dna on file with the feds, there was an incident what isnt important about a cold case and they were taking DNA from those anywhere near involved, I voluntarily gave my dna since I had nothing to hid and it happened many years ago.

I am 69-84% italian/Greek and thats roman based, the rest are a spattering of others that totaled up to 100%, I was told italians and greeks mostly share the same blood, I found that interesting.
