A Japanese drug maker has an experimental drug which supposedly will kill the flu virus within on day of injection. This could be very good news for millions who contract the flu virus around the world every year.

Even though the vaccine will not be available until next year, it will give hope to many people who are especially at risk for contracting it.

Is it a vaccine, or a remedy? A remedy...in pill form. I think that live virus vaccines are a cause for this year's epidemic...live viruses mutate and adapt...dead ones don't .

It's a pill, like Tamiflu, but works in 24 hours. It was developed out of the research to cure HIV.

It would be a first as well. We have never been able to kill a virus in the body. We can find vaccines to prevent it never kill it. I suspect a little lying here.

You know that Tamiflu only slows the virus down, don'y you. It doesn't kill the virus and it doesn't cure the flu. It's a help but not a cure.
