I always watch or listen to my Local News. As I have said Several times your local and state government effects your life much more than the national.
I am in the car a lot so I listen to NPR
I read the Grand Rapids Press (Again Local )
Fox, PBS, CNN I can't do msnbc, they are just too far gone
There is a TV in my office so for the most part I really listen more than I watch.
and even with this diversity, I am still not getting the truth on may issues
Noble pursiut Trish. When you are done .. try watching C-SPAN and see how long you can tolerate watching congress inaction. My record is 5 minutes. The clock stops after you start shouting incoherently. Of the 5 minutes our well paid law makers spent 4 essentially calling each other names. We PAID for those 4 minutes.

It's always good to see both sides of the story which can help you to make an informed decision as opposed to one based on ignorance. News reporting has changed so much over the past few decades with the deregulation of the broadcast industry by the FCC. The standards they used to have all went out the window and it basically became a free-for-all. Now viewers/listeners get to pick and choose what news that fits their political tastes. Either way I think you'll find it interesting to see the differences in reporting by the cable news channels.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.
Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

If you just watch the evening political commentary shows you will certainly get a slanted perspective. Not unlike if you only watched Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell on the other side of the spectrum.
But if you are watching the actual news coverage on Fox News you should get a pretty good presentation of what it going on in the world.
I find Sean Hannity immensely annoying....

Update:
I've run into a bit of a snag. I get my tv streamed and apparently I did not select Fox when I purchased the channels I wanted last year. So, I either need to buy Fox News (which I really don't want to put out money for it) or I'm going to have to think of a plan B.
