    Shame.

As long as the focus is on guns, it's not be solved.

CNN Already Demanding A 'Discussion' About Gun Control After Florida School Shooting.....

As the story about the horrific mass shooting in Parkland, Florida was still developing today, CNN didn't even wait for all the facts to come in before beginning its push for a “discussion about guns."

At 3:17 PM EST, CNN National Security Analyst Juliette Kayyem made her gun control pitch by misinforming the network's viewers, claiming that America is "the only nation that has this kind of violence." According to NewsBusters, which transcribed the relevant segment, Kayyem said:

Instead of correcting Kayyem's egregious factual error, CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin agreed with Kayyem:

In the past three years alone, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada have all had to deal with school shootings that resulted in fatalities. The Canadian school shooting in question was reported by CNN at the time:

If CNN's crack analysts can figure out some revolutionary new way to identify evil people who are willing to commit these atrocities, no matter what weapons they have at their disposal, every sane person would surely love to hear about it. Before that happens though, perhaps any real discussion about gun control and mass killings should start with the facts?.....snip~

Well, This Democratic Senator Wasted No Time Politicizing The Florida High School Shooting.....

This is the nature of gun politics now, folks. Every time there’s a mass shooting, the anti-gun Left simply cannot hold their tongues. We should mourn the victims, pray for the families, and wait for the authorities to conduct their investigation. That’s not allowed. After the horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) took to the Senate floor today to lecture his colleagues.

“This happens nowhere else other than the United States of America, this epidemic of mass slaughter, this scourge of school shooting after school shooting,” he said. Actually, shootings occur in other countries all the time, Senator. Have we forgotten about the Paris attacks in 2015? Second, mass shootings are rare. They still are, even FiveThirtyEight admitted this—and added that to view the gun violence issue solely through the prism of mass shootings is a good way to craft some pretty bad policy.

Murphy also said that it happened as a consequence of congressional inaction. Okay—first, we don’t know anything about the shooter, Nikolas de Jesus Cruz, who shot and killed 17 people and wounded at least a dozen others. We don’t know the weapon or weapons he used. We don’t know his motivations. He was expelled. We simply don’t know. Second, the big push Democrats tried to do on gun control was preventing Americans who had not been convicted of a crime from buying guns. Yes, that’s the no fly no buy gun push. As attorney and Washington Examiner contributor Gabriel Malor noted, these are secret lists and there is zero due process of law. In fact, this idea was so bad that the LA Times editorial board agreed with the Second Amendment crowd for once in declaring that the people on the no fly list should be able to buy firearms:

So, all this did was politicize something without knowing all the facts—typical of Democrats. The anti-gun crowd is going to mobilize over this tragedy. They will push the same talking points and push for the same bills that won’t stop or reduce mass shootings. The cumulative effect argument is crap.

It’ll end as it always does. The Left beats their chest; they get beat because the facts are not on their side, and a chance to do something, like improving detection for those with mental health issues, is squandered......snip~

As usual.....the Demos waste no time in politicizing the tragedy. Maybe its time we get some Pro gun activist groups in all 50 states to show up when one of these Demo Mopes gets in front of the cameras. Humiliate the Demos in front of the cameras with facts Then shame them, ridicule them for wasting peoples time. Then leave them with the diss.

CNN Points Out that in Florida You Don't Need A Permit to 'Conceal Carry A Rifle'

Many lawmakers and media outlets renewed calls for stricter gun laws Thursday following the tragic mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida, which left 17 dead. CNN attempted to outline some of the state’s gun laws but baffled many on Twitter by highlighting the fact that “in Florida, you don't need a permit to conceal carry a rifle or shotgun, although you do need it to conceal carry a handgun.”

    CNN
@CNN You don't need a permit or license to buy a gun in Florida. (And you don't have to register your gun either) http://cnn.it/2o1QfEe pic.twitter.com/rAcVb1FxFg

This led many to ask how someone would conceal carry a rifle or shotgun.

Others pointed out further inaccuracies in the article.

    @DLoesch

Lack of knowledge re FL and federal law in this article. You don’t need a state permit re sales as FFL is regulated through ATF. https://twitter.com/CNN/status/964151871790252033 …
