    Ah, is that so? Not cheap then. It's a lot more expensive than a ham hock, for example.

    I was doing asparagus last week at work and someone told me that. Broke my heart. It is my favorite vegetable. I was told once you have cancer (and beat it) your chance of getting any other type goes up 30% so I will look into this.

    Everything Prudhomme is expensive, if you found it in a retail store it would be alot cheaper.

    I believe its used in Gumbo and chile, stew and soups, Ive never seen it for sale anywhere but his site and ive never bought it.
