I hear what you are saying, but I don't agree with your assertion. When asked numerous times during the campaign how Mexico will pay for the wall, Trump never even mentioned tariffs. If you go back and read the posts and threads from our Trump supporters here, you will see how many thought Trump was going to build a wall with Mexico's money. Of course, now they will say that the wall was a "metaphor", but then again, I understand the need for people to save face.

I guess I just assumed that is what he was talking about all along. When he was telling everyone that NAFTA would have to go?

To me that meant that Tariffs would be coming back....

But it assumes Bankruptcy is failure and not a business practice.

I will give you an example, some of you know that one of the things that I am involved with is a distribution company. the products that we distribute (home furnishings) are becoming more and more competitive and in the next few years these companies will have to take out the middle step in their distribution to remain competitive

When this happens we will have to close down the business, which we will do by declaring bankruptcy, even though we will not owe debt, But it will release us from personal liability and put that back on the manufactures if something should go wrong. Does it mean I am a failure? OK if you want to put it that way, I will not loose sleep

But most really successful business people including J.D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie went through unsuccessful times in their business models. And if they could have used bankruptcy back then I am sure they would have.

As for Marriages? I would much rather him move on and have pretty good relationships with his X's than have a fake marriage like Hillary and Bill, where she constantly has to run cover for his sexual exploitation of women.

And last I would much rather have someone running the country that is successful even if he has had failures then someone like Obama that never succeeded at anything.

He seems to be doing a great job, policy wise, and if that means I have to overlook some personality traits, then so be it. I happen to like making more money, keeping more of my own money, jobs coming back, and the Government starting to spend wisely, even if the guy behind it used to be a Democrat.
