I've decided you guys are right. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. We don't need to register guns because guns aren't the problem, the mental state of the person carrying the gun is the problem.

So let's register the owners and require a mental health evaluation both when you purchase and annually from then on. Anyone who passes can own as many guns as he or she wants, buy more whenever they want, stockpile ammo, carry them openly or concealed anywhere and everywhere, pretty much anything they want as long as they are mentally stable and healthy.

Seems fair right? After all, it you gun rights guys who are always saying it a mental health issue, not a gun control issue.
