    I'll hold on to it because none of your links show the previous years security budget was cut, just the amount of increase requested. Therefore the security budget increased.

    Congress cut $296 million from the State Department’s spending request

    In Left speak not getting the massive increase one asks for is a cut. Still, a couple of billion for embassy security appears to be lots of money. I wonder what that number includes.
    Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

    Why is the safety of local students or anyone the job of the federal government? The feds are to keep the people safe from foreign nations and violence across state lines.

    The local schools are responsible. It's on them to do something.
