"The current Australian gun laws were passed after 35 were killed and 23 wounded in a 1996 mass shooting in Port Arthur, Tasmania. The shooter was able to buy his assault rifle, even though later he was later determined by authorities to have an IQ of 11. There hasn't been a mass shooting in Australia since then." http://www.wow.com/article/M8miNA/10443780

"In 1991, Warren E. Burger, the conservative chief justice of the Supreme Court, was interviewed on the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour about the meaning of the Second Amendment's "right to keep and bear arms." Burger answered that the Second Amendment "has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud--I repeat the word 'fraud'--on the American public by special interest groups that I have ever seen in my lifetime." In a speech in 1992, Burger declared that "the Second Amendment doesn't guarantee the right to have firearms at all. "In his view, the purpose of the Second Amendment was "to ensure that the 'state armies'--'the militia'--would be maintained for the defense of the state."
Teh left, "NOBODY WANTS TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!". Then in the next breath, "WE NEED COMMON SENSE GUN LAWS, LIKE AUSTRALIA!". Then in the next breath, "ARGGGGGGGGH!"
    Cutesy Time is OVER

I think that camps are a little extreme, that is kind of a leftist thing to do.

But I think publishing the names and addresses of the people that find it in their hearts to attack someone that has just lost a child because of who they voted for in an election? Yes that should straighten things out.

What the hell does this have to do with beating the father grieving the loss of a child. You people are the heartless ones. These kids dying was just a political event for you. You should be ashamed.

    "The left"?

The op would have us believe that I or anyone here on the left attacked this poor grieving parent.

What these people did is inexcusable. It doesn't represent the left anymore than a racist rant against Obama represents the right.

Its mainly the left that gets out there bringing the disrespect. That's not to say there isn't any on the Right that does the same. But for every one on the Right there are 5-10 more leftists. That don't think about.....you get what you give.

There is good news tho.....the left can be trained into doing the Right thing.

They went after a guy who had just lost his daughter for wearing a Trump shirt. A freakin' t-shirt!!!!! and you're gonna fall back on that lame-assed reasoning that it didn't come from the left? I'd bet a dollar it didn't come from any Trump supporter That would leave one other camp out there...your camp
