I don't think that Levi Jeans are designer nor LL Bean clothing (both American made products); if you google you'd be amazed at what you can find at good prices. However if people want to buy their clothes at Walmart, then have at it. Hopefully the buttons don't pop off after a couple of uses.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

That's elitist? I made that statement based on observation and discussion with friends who patronize Walmart. I think that is a pretty far stretch on your part.

That's the beautiful thing about our country; you have a right to shop wherever you want for the type of clothes you want. So no argument there.

Seems that other folks expect that everything we buy or own should be made in America, totally. That can only be applied to a few things. You understand business and how it works. For at least one, they don't think it through.
We have trade that was supposed to enhance our economy, not drain it. If we purchase those things that come from America, we would have nothing in our homes but a few things. This is a result of international trade deals. We, as Americans are stuck with this. It is now a matter of fact that we cannot alter. However, Trump is correct and spot on. It is a matter of life that we must accept, unless we want to pay $2500 for a tv that would normally cost $800, $50 dollars for an engraved cup bought from you that sells for more than half of that.
Trade reduces costs to the consumer.
It does but the one thing that many do not think about, it greatly increases profits to the retailers. If it was made in the US and cost the retailer 50 bucks and they could sell it for 60 that is a profit but Wal-Mart will job the same items out to china and buy them for 5 bucks and sell them for 55! You save and they win big.
