You don't know that. There were monetary money laundering actions from Manafort in the past, which indicates it probably has some current actions like that, as well. Just because one line of questioning was the past, doesn't mean the charges aren't for the future. Gates has lots on Trumper, too. And maybe can reveal alot about why ol' Trumper doesn't want us to see his tax returns over the last 12 years.

Read the article linked in the OP. Anything beyond that is speculation, but as of now, the only charges they have been indicted on have nothing to do with Trump or his campaign. No matter how much you desire it to be different.

How do you figure his actions are clearing Trump? There's been no decision made on Trump and collusion, let alone the financial illegalities Mueller is just now looking into with Gates. There's nothing coming from the investigation that clears Trump. We don't know what songs Flynn and Bannon have sung.

Your Trump Russian Collusion Conspiracy theory is ovaaaa. Once Mueller pointed out that the Russians were meddling 13 months before Trump became a candidate and that the Russians initiated Protests against Trump. That was the Demos ending and why Hillary has to look for a new excuse as to.....What Happened.

He's spending tens of millions on this wild goose chase. He better indict someone other than 13 foreign nationals who will never see the inside of an American courtroom.

I'm thinking they tie into a financial corruption to Trump with the Russia mafia. He's had that connection in the past and it seems so has Manafort. There was a reason Trumper put both Carter Page, a confessed Russian agent since 2013 and Manafort and Gates, known swindlers doing business with Russian mafia and Kremlin connected oligarchs in Russia. And those ties that bind go back to Trumper.

Sounds like a good idea for a fantasy novel. You have a great imagination

Of course it's speculation beyond what Mueller lets us see. It's speculation to think Trump has been exonerated from collusion AND obstruction, but all evidence being revealed from Trump's actions and the information released in thenews shows there is ample evidence for both.

OR. . . I read more article from reputable sources and understand how to link the information revealed from the news in sources separating fact from fiction and watch and observe Trump's actions in the investigation and toward Russia.
