Actually it is good that the legislature has started to inform the Children that an Assault Rifle Ban would have done nothing to save even one of their friends.

They should be given the Facts and Truth instead of being told that they will make the difference. The Truth is there are Millions and Millions of these guns out there so anyone wanting to use one, would have NO trouble finding one on the used market.

They should be told that there are many, many Guns that don't look as scary that would have causes much more devastation.

I get it, they have been through a terrible event. But that is not going to change the fact that the feel good legislation that is being pushed is not going to save even ONE child.

This is a well-financed Democrat political rally. I can tell you believe this is a winner for the anti-American Democratic Party. I do not believe it will be. One does not disarm more Americans because some already disarmed Americans were murdered. People will figure that out.

Bump stocks are not relevant to anything. If one cared one would immediately lift any federal rule requiring gun free zones. Let individual states decide if they want their children kept in government-directed killing zones.

Because we live we have the right to defend ourselves. Through pernicious government actions, some people are kept in government-directed killing zones. We can do three things almost immediately. First, we can end any rule that directs gun free zones. Second, we can both allow and encourage people to get concealed carry permits. Third, we can change rules and laws so we encourage teachers and staff to become armed first responders.
