Help Needed: Line Tape or Paint for Outdoor Basketball Backboard

P1 and P2 were big time into driveway basketball when Lebron (and they) were younger. I bought one of those fancy fiberglass backboard contraptions, like goalrilla or something like that. Well, over the years, the weather has beaten it up and the taped or painted lines on the back of the backboard have peeled off. You know, the square above the goal and the line around the entire backboard. I have searched and cannot find any replacement tape or glass backboard paint.

Any help? Thank you. It looks like Pelosi.

Home Depot sells white duct tape, if you wash the glass then wipe it with alcohol white duct tape would work fine.

Plus theres alot of paints that will adhere to glass ask at any paint retailer

Not sure. Suspect that it's plexiglass. Not sure.

If it's plexiglass clean the surface well, tape off what you wish to paint, sand with 220 grit lightly then paint with an acrylic spray paint. No oil base paints. I'm assuming you're painting the back so color will show through, if not use a primer first, again non oil base. Painting on glass is less work, no sanding. Clean surface well with soap and water then alcohol. Use rubber gloves so it's body oil free then paint with acrylic enamel paint. A coat of clear varnish will give some durability if needed.

It’s probably lexan. There are several kinds of paint that will work to restore the square. It’s not expensive either.
