American historians have recently ranked Donald Trump our worst president to date. There is, as you might imagine, some disagreement that breaks down along partisan lines in these surveys of the experts, but even the Republican historians still rank Trump among the worst five we've ever had.

Some might argue that it's unfair to include Trump in these rankings based on only a single year in office, and particularly unfair to rank him the absolute worst president in U.S. history considering that he hasn't yet led us into any true national catastrophes like say a civil war or an event like the Great Depression, for example. But clearly historians look at this administration and see great potential.

I believe it, I believe most everyone in politics thinks trumps the worst and im DAMN GLAD.

Traditional Republicans, McCain, Graham, billy crystal of the national review, Forbes, karl rove and all like them hate trump because he does not play ball or dance to their toon, the democrats hate him for obvious reasons.

They are ALL scared to death of trump and theres a couple of reasons.

1. They are thoroughly frightened that he will expose their dirty deals and deeds and screw up their good thing

2. They are scared to death of him because he threatens their duopoly

3. They KNOW they cannot control him, he will tell them to F off in a flash

4. They are scared to death he will become more popular than them.

Its damn telling that Trump has even survived a year with all the forces that have been against him since he announced he was running in the Primary. EVERYONE has been against him, democrats, republicans, the media.

Historians saying hes the worst is worthless and means nothing. The only thing that says whether hes the worst or the best is the voters.

Can someone who is judging Trump's presidency at this early stage, really call themself a "historian"? I think a more accurate thread title would be something like, "A few leftist loons posing as historians, hate Donald Trump".

You really should look into the background of the author before you start singing his praises. He is a close personal friend of the Clintons. He has no credibility on this subject.

The very fact that he would claim Trump to be one of the worst Presidents in history just over year into his administration is enough to establish his bias. His close personal friendship with the Clintons is also no secret.
