Well, another case of LEOs feeling like they are above the law and people should just accept it....good job, Georgia, way to keep winning...

Petty Facebook drama can be uncomfortable and a little tacky but generally speaking, no one's really worried about going to jail over it.

That is, until Anne King and a friend found themselves behind bars for a few hours in 2015 after bad-mouthing King's ex-husband, a sheriff's deputy in Washington County, Georgia, on Facebook. Now King is suing her ex and his colleague for violating her constitutional rights.

The deputy abused his state-granted powers. He needs to turn in his badge.

I agree and I also agree that Police bah I dont know what to do with police anymore except RAISE the qualifications back to what they were and that includes NOTHING on a police officers record like it used to be. Now you can have convictions and be a cop.

I have never condoned criminal or bad behavior by police to do that makes you one of the bad ones. They make all police look bad

This case hits pretty close to home, because Washington Co. was one of the schools I played against in football. It is one, if not the one, of the poorest counties in GA. It shocked me when I read about it, that it happened there.

Land of the free, lmfao. That guy needs to be prosecuted for a host of crimes, but don't hold your breath.
