Note, it is also possible to have image persistence with LCD monitors: https://www.lifewire.com/lcd-image-persistence-833037

Macs SUCK everything is proprietary if they break apple takes your first born to fix them. At the shop we get mac calls and walkins every day and we tell most of the we cant fix them send it to apple. Then we recommend throw it out and go get a PC, the only time were able to fix mac is if used parts are available on ebay or a couple of other sites.

    Check this out!

I currently use a 32" monitor with two HDMI inputs and switch between the two. Or use extra monitors with other systems too.

All of us at the shop run win7 64 pro, win10 has gotten alot better and theres alot of 3rd party out there to remove its most insidious spying but I will run win 7 as long as I can.

Micro Soft says there will never be another version of windows, just win10 upgraded

I will try swapping out video cables. I have speakers on the table but they are closer to the other monitor.

It could also be coming from a new peripheral that has been hooked up.

Did you recently have a background or screen saver that had bird images?

Try changing the background in the second monitor. If that doesn't work go to ComputerGeeks.
