B DeVos has been a donor to Republican candidates since 1980 at the local, state and national levels for 30 plus years. Do you believe she was donating all that time in anticipation of appointment to a cabinet post ?? I don't believe she donated to Trump campaign. Another question, how much must one contribute till it's considered "buying" the post ??

And I didn't take issue with the amount she's donated over the years. I'm trying to understand why she's accused of "buying" the post when most every cabinet position appointee has done the same. Is it the amount, is the amount during an election cycle, thedividuals, is it the party. What sets her apart from the others ??

I will say that since I do not think we need a Federal Dept of Education, her performance in that office does not worry me. The entire Dept should be scrapped and the money used to run it saved.
